Email News Re: WFOP

From WFOP’s Cathryn Cofell:

DEC 18 (WEDNESDAY)  Millers, Millites, Millpersons, Millitants, Millatarians, Millenialists, Millistines, family and friends thereof:  You, one and all, are invited to the The Mill’s holiday gathering at the Atlas Coffee Mill on the Fox River in Appleton. The cafe will be open for drinks, sandwiches, and snacks. There will also be a (cash) wine bar available.  Please bring a gift-wrapped book of your choosing to exchange. If any of you have a short piece of writing that reflects the spirit of the winter season, we’d love to hear you read it. The evening will begin at 6:30 and end sometime after 8:00. We hope to see you there.

Cathryn Cofell is the woman who sends you emails, encouraging you to attend all the great poetry events happening throughout Northeast Wisconsin.  Beyond emails, I’ve published poetry and essays, including Sister Satellite (Cowfeather Press 2013), six chapbooks and one CD with poems set to the music of Obvious Dog.  As Chair of the Wisconsin Poet Laureate Commission and a volunteer with the WFOP, the Foot of the Lake Collective, Verse Wisconsin, the Fox Cities Book Festival and this great Harmony Café Series, I am either using all this advocacy work as an excuse to not write or unable to get enough poetry (yours and mine) out into the world.  Let’s focus on the latter, ok?
