Wisconsin Homestead Chronicler’s Voice is Stilled

Those who knew Wisconsin writer Ben Logan and his work will be interested in and saddened by this loss:

Writer Ben Logan gave voice to Wisconsin’s land and beauty

Logan, author of the much acclaimed The Land Remembers, about land his family farmed in Southwest Wisconsin, was first published in 1975.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ran this tribute to Logan, who died on Friday at age 94.
